The National Stock Exchange of India Limited (NSE), on June 2, 2026, issued a circular informing members about the upcoming expiry of the existing Certificate Authority (CA) certificate used for encryption of interactive messages. The current certificate, introduced pursuant to earlier circulars, is valid until July 5, 2026, and members are required to migrate to the new CA certificate before the expiry date.
To facilitate a smooth transition, NSE will provide an interim coexistence period during which logins using either the old or new CA certificate will be accepted. For members using NEAT Adapter (NA) and NEAT applications, updated software versions containing the new certificates will be released separately. Members using Direct Connection through NNF API protocols must download the new CA certificate from the Exchange extranet, update the prescribed interactive connectivity parameters, and use the new certificate-parameter combination for accessing the CM, FO, CD, COM, and SLBM segments.
The Exchange has also provided supporting documentation, including the extranet path for downloading the new certificate, connectivity parameters, and FAQs on encryption of interactive messages. All other requirements and procedures specified in earlier circulars remain unchanged.
