The Government of Himachal Pradesh on May 25, 2026, issued a notification regarding the Unified Directory of Testing Facilities for MSMEs.
The following has been stated:-
•The Government of Himachal Pradesh has notified a Unified Directory of Testing Facilities to help MSMEs access quality testing infrastructure and promote ease of doing business in the State.
•The directory includes testing facilities from public and private sectors, NABL-accredited laboratories, MSME Testing Centres, BIS, Pollution Control Board, Food and Drug authorities, and other regulatory bodies.
•The Department of Industries has been designated as the nodal authority for maintaining, updating, and disseminating the directory.
•The directory will be regularly updated and made available through the Himachal Pradesh Single Window Portal and other government websites to ensure easy access for MSMEs.
