Commercial Compliance The Ministry of Commerce and Industry (NoCI) on June 01, 2026, issued a notification regarding enforcement of Jan Vishwas Amendments relating to the Patents Act, 1970.

The Central Government, in exercise of the powers conferred under sub-section (2) of Section 1 of the Jan Vishwas (Amendment of Provisions) Act, 2026, has notified June 1, 2026, as the effective date for bringing into force the provisions related to serial number 35 and the entries relating thereto in the Schedule to the said Act, relating to the Patents Act, 1970.
