The National Stock Exchange (NSE) on June 05, 2026, issued Mock Trading Session in F&O Segment on June 06, 2026.
The Exchange will conduct a mock trading session in the Futures & Options (F&O) segment on June 06, 2026, as part of ongoing system preparedness, with trading conducted in two sessions—first from the primary site and later from the Disaster Recovery (DR) site. The schedule includes pre-open, normal trading, contingency, and trade modification windows, followed by a live re-login session in the evening.
No new software version will be released specifically for this mock; however, members are advised to prepare for the mandatory rollout of NEAT Adapter version 1.0.29 (Windows/Linux) and new network ports effective from July 06, 2026 (mock). Updated ports (including 10841 and 10843) will support enhanced encryption features and removal of MD5 checksum.
Members using direct connectivity (NNF users) must download and implement the new CA certificate (available June 05, 2026) and ensure readiness for migration by July 06, 2026. Compatibility changes are also highlighted for NEATPlus versions: version 7.8.7 will be discontinued after the mock session, while version 7.8.8 will support new broadcast parameters.
The Exchange has urged members to follow annexed guidelines on mock participation, system prerequisites, and DR site switchover procedures to ensure smooth transition and compliance.
