The Department of Transport, Roads & Buildings, Andhra Pradesh, on June 05, 2026, issued a notification regarding the declaration of Cab Services as Essential Services at Bhogapuram International Airport.
The following has been stated:-
•The Government of Andhra Pradesh has declared cab aggregators, radio cabs, app-based cab services, and other licensed/accredited cab operators at Bhogapuram International Airport as essential services under the Andhra Pradesh Essential Services Maintenance Act, 1971.
•Strikes and work stoppages by these service providers have been prohibited to ensure uninterrupted passenger transportation services.
•The prohibition will remain in force for six months, from June 05, 2026 to December 04, 2026.
