The Government of Goa, on April 24, 2026, issued the Daily Wages (Grant of Temporary Status) (First Amendment) Scheme, 2026.
The following has been stated:
Amendment of Clause 2 - In Clause 2 of the Daily Wages (Grant of Temporary Status), Scheme of Government of Goa, 2025, in sub-clause (i), for the expression “who have rendered a continuous service of at least seven years as on date of issue of this Notification”, the expression “who have rendered or on completing a continuous service of at least seven years on or after date of issue of this Notification”, shall be substituted.
It shall be deemed to come into force on August 01, 2025.
