The NSE Clearing Limited (NCL), on June 06, 2026, announced the postponement of the implementation of changes relating to the Extreme Loss Margin (ELM) file that were earlier notified through Circular No. 070/2026 dated June 05, 2026.
Under the revised timeline, the provisions prescribed in the earlier circular will no longer take effect immediately and have been deferred. The implementation date has now been rescheduled to July 07, 2026, providing members with additional time to make the necessary operational and system-related preparations.
Clearing members are advised to take note of the revised effective date and ensure readiness for compliance with the amended ELM file requirements from July 07, 2026.
