The National Payments Corporation of India Bharat BillPay Limited (NBBL) on May 30, 2026, issued a circular regarding the implementation of Additional BBPS Settlement Cycles.
The following has been stated:-
•The National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) has postponed the implementation of the ninth and tenth BBPS settlement cycles from June 01, 2026, to June 08, 2026.
•The deferment has been made to ensure a smooth and seamless transition across the payment ecosystem.
•Accordingly, the existing settlement cycle framework will remain in effect until June 07, 2026.
