It has notified the rescission of the Cotton Bales Quality Control Notification No. S.O. 948(E) dated February 28, 2023, with immediate effect under the provisions of the Bureau of Indian Standards Act, 2016. Issued in public interest after consultation with the Bureau of Indian Standards, the notification withdraws the earlier quality control requirements applicable to cotton bales.
