Industry Specific Compliance The Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MoCI) on June 08, 2026, issued a notification regarding enforcement of Jan Vishwas Amendments relating to the Works of Defence Act, 1903.

The Central Government, in exercise of the powers conferred under sub-section (2) of Section 1 of the Jan Vishwas (Amendment of Provisions) Act, 2026, has notified June 08, 2026, as the effective date from which the amendments specified against Serial No. 5 of the Schedule to the Act will come into force.
