The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), on June 11, 2026, announced a mock trading session for the Electronic Gold Receipts (EGR) segment to be conducted on June 13, 2026 from both the Primary Site (PR) and Disaster Recovery Site (DR). The exercise is intended to enable trading members using third-party trading platforms or in-house systems through ETI APIs to test various functionalities, including risk-reduction mechanisms, trading halts, and exceptional market conditions.
The mock session will commence with login from 9:15 a.m. and include pre-open, continuous trading, switchover to the disaster recovery site, and closing sessions. No new BOLT TWS release has been announced for this exercise. Members are encouraged to actively participate and assess the performance and readiness of their trading applications under simulated market conditions.
BSE clarified that trades executed during the mock trading session are solely for testing and familiarization purposes and will not result in any margin obligations, pay-in/pay-out requirements, or creation of legal rights and liabilities. Participants have also been requested to submit feedback on the mock trading session to assist the exchange in enhancing system robustness and operational efficiency.
