The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), on June 11, 2026, announced a mock trading session for the Equity Derivatives segment to be conducted on June 13, 2026 from both the Primary Site (PR) and Disaster Recovery Site (DR). The exercise is intended to provide trading members an opportunity to test their trading applications, including third-party and in-house systems connected through ETI APIs, under various market scenarios such as risk-reduction modes and trading halts.
The mock session will begin with member login from 9:15 a.m., followed by pre-open and continuous trading sessions at the primary site, a switchover to the disaster recovery site, and further trading activities until 3:45 p.m. A trade modification session will be available at 4:00 p.m. BSE has clarified that no new BOLT TWS release is being introduced for this mock exercise.
The Exchange emphasized that all trades executed during the mock trading session are solely for testing and familiarization purposes and will not result in margin obligations, settlement obligations, or any legal rights and liabilities. Members are encouraged to participate actively and provide feedback to help improve the robustness, efficiency, and resilience of the Exchange’s trading infrastructure.
