The Department of Housing & Urban Development, Punjab has issued a notification partially modifying its earlier notification dated March 27, 2025, concerning the regularization policy for existing standalone buildings constructed without prior approval outside municipal limits.
As per the latest update, the last date for submitting applications under this regularization policy has been extended up to December 31, 2026. This extension provides additional time for property owners to apply and regularize their constructions under the scheme.
All other terms, conditions, and provisions specified in the original policy notification dated October 18, 2023, will remain unchanged and continue to apply.
Overall, the notification only revises the application deadline while maintaining the existing regulatory framework for regularization.
