Secretarial ComplianceThe Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on June 12, 2026, issued a notification regarding the applicability of the Price Band - Electronic Gold Receipts (EGR) segment.

The following has been stated:-

•SEBI has prescribed a dynamic price band mechanism for the Electronic Gold Receipts (EGR) segment to ensure orderly trading and market integrity.

•During the pre-open session, a price range of ±5% of the previous day’s closing price will apply, while the initial dynamic price band will be ±10%.

•If prices move close to the upper or lower limit, the band may be relaxed in 5% increments after a 15-minute cooling-off period, with trading continuing within the existing band during that period.

•The relaxation process can continue progressively (e.g., from 10% to 15%, then 20%, and so on) based on market movement.

•In exceptional circumstances involving significant international price movements, exchanges may directly relax the price band to the required level after providing appropriate market notice.
