The Government of Chhattisgarh on June 09, 2026, issued a notification regarding Aadhaar Authentication for benefits under Mantri Parishad Sadasy Swekchhanudan Niyam, 2019.
The following has been stated:-
•The Government of Chhattisgarh has notified Aadhaar-based identity verification for beneficiaries seeking assistance under the Mantri Parishad Sadasy Swekchhanudan Niyam, 2019.
•The scheme provides financial grants for sports, education, art, science, medical treatment, self-employment, marriage assistance, support to economically weaker sections, destitute persons, persons with disabilities, orphans, and educational aid.
•Beneficiaries must authenticate using Aadhaar or furnish proof of possession of an Aadhaar number. Individuals without Aadhaar are required to enroll and may temporarily establish identity through prescribed alternative documents.
•The General Administration Department will facilitate Aadhaar enrollment and updates through dedicated measures and enrolment centres.
•Detailed provisions have been prescribed for children, adults, foreign nationals, and persons under legal guardianship.
•Alternative authentication mechanisms, including OTP, QR code verification, and offline e-KYC, are allowed where biometric authentication fails.
•The notification also ensures that no eligible child is denied benefits due to the absence of Aadhaar and mandates awareness campaigns and exception-handling mechanisms for genuine beneficiaries.
