EHS Compliance The Government of Maharashtra on June 09, 2026, issued amendments to the Maharashtra Felling of Trees (Regulation) Act, 1964.

The following has been stated:-

•In exercise of powers under Section 2, clause (f), the Government of Maharashtra has officially modified the schedule appended to the Act.

•The modification directs that the entry at serial number 2 relating to "Teak" trees shall be deleted from the schedule.
