Industry Specific Compliance The Government of Assam on June 06, 2026 notified as the date on which the provisions of the Assam Agricultural Produce and Livestock Marketing (Promotion and Facilitation) Act, 2020 shall come into force in the State. Exercising powers under Section 1(3) of the Act, the notification brings the entire framework of the Act into effect, thereby enabling regulation, promotion, and facilitation of agricultural produce and livestock markets across Assam from the said date.
