The Government of Chhattisgarh on May 26, 2026, notified the Chhattisgarh Startup Promotion Rules, 2026.
The following has been stated:-
•The Government of Chhattisgarh has notified the Chhattisgarh Startup Promotion Rules, 2026 to implement incentives and grants under the Chhattisgarh Innovation and Startup Promotion Policy 2025–30.
•The rules are effective from May 26, 2026, and will apply to all pending and future applications received during the Industrial Development Policy 2024–30 period.
•To be eligible, startups must hold a valid DPIIT recognition certificate, be legally registered, and operate within Chhattisgarh.
•Units engaged in ineligible or core-sector industries, or merely replicating traditional business models, are excluded from benefits.
•A State-Level Startup Promotion Committee has been constituted to evaluate applications, approve incentives, and oversee incubator performance.
•Startups must register on the departmental portal, obtain a Udyam Aakanksha number, and submit online applications with prescribed documents to avail policy benefits.
