The Government of Assam on June 06, 2026, issued a notification regarding the enforcement of the Assam Agricultural Produce and Livestock Marketing Act, 2020.
The following has been stated:-
•The Government of Assam has notified May 13, 2026, as the date from which the provisions of the Assam Agricultural Produce and Livestock Marketing (Promotion and Facilitation) Act, 2020 will come into force across the State.
•This brings the Act into operational effect for agricultural produce and livestock marketing in Assam.
