Finance & Taxation ComplianceThe Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) on June 15, 2026, issued an amendment to the older notification no. 08/2026-Central Excise, dated March 26, 2026, related to the effective rate of Special Additional Excise Duty on Aviation Turbine Fuel when cleared for exports.

In the said notification, in the Table, against serial number 1, in column (4), the entry “Rs. 12.5 per litre” shall be substituted.

This notification shall come into force with effect from June 16, 2026.
