Industry Specific Compliance The Government of Tamil Nadu on June 12, 2026, issued amendments to the Tamil Nadu Brewery Rules, 1983.

The following has been stated:-

•The Tamil Nadu Government has amended the Tamil Nadu Brewery Rules, 1983, replacing the term “manufactory” with “brewery” in Rule 4(3).

•The amendment has been given retrospective effect and is deemed to have come into force from June 05, 2026.
