NCDEX issued circular regarding applicability of Event-based Additional Surveillance Margin (E-ASM)

Secretarial ComplianceThe National Commodity & Derivatives Exchange Limited (NCDEX) on June 17, 2026, issued a circular regarding the applicability of Event-based Additional Surveillance Margin (E-ASM).

The following has been stated:-

•NCDEX has re-imposed an Event-based Additional Surveillance Margin (E-ASM) of 2.5% on Coriander contracts due to significant price volatility. 

•The margin was triggered on June 17, 2026, based on the prescribed high-low price movement criteria. 

•It will apply to all running and yet-to-be-launched Coriander contracts until July 09, 2026. 

•All other applicable margins will continue to be levied as per existing rules.
