Secretarial ComplianceThe National Commodity & Derivatives Exchange Limited (NCDEX) on June 18, 2026, issued a circular regarding the applicability of Event-based Additional Surveillance Margin (E-ASM).

The following has been stated:-

•NCDEX has re-triggered an Event-based Additional Surveillance Margin (E-ASM) of 2.5% on Coriander contracts due to significant price volatility. 

•The trigger was activated on June 18, 2026, based on both 5-day and 10-day high-low price movement thresholds. 

•The additional margin will apply to all running and yet-to-be-launched Coriander contracts. 

•The E-ASM measure will remain in force until July 10, 2026. 

•No E-ASM has been triggered for Barley, Castor Seed, Guar Gum, Guar Seed, Jeera, or Turmeric, and existing margins will continue as applicable.
