The following has been stated:-
•Authorities have clarified that there is no fuel or LPG shortage in East Khasi Hills, and supply is being closely monitored.
•Citizens are urged not to believe or share unverified social media rumours about fuel scarcity or price hikes.
•The public should avoid panic buying and rely only on official government updates, as action will be taken against those spreading false information.
