The Multi-Commodity Exchange Clearing Corporation Limited (MCX) on June 17, 2026, notified regarding the Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) Refund Online Portal.
The following has been stated:
• MCXCCL has launched a dedicated online TDS Refund Portal for active members to submit bill details and TDS certificates for claiming TDS refunds. With effect from Q4 FY 2025-26 onwards, all TDS refund requests shall be submitted through the online portal, and offline/manual submissions will no longer be accepted. However, refund claims relating to periods up to Q3 FY 2025-26 will continue to be accepted through the existing offline process.
• The portal enables members to log in using their MMPI credentials, upload TDS certificates, submit refund requests electronically, track application status, and respond to observations raised by the Exchange. A unique reference number will be generated for each submitted claim, and members will receive email notifications throughout the processing cycle. The initiative is aimed at digitizing and streamlining the TDS refund process, improving efficiency, transparency, and turnaround time.
