Secretarial ComplianceThe National Stock Exchange (NSE) on June 19, 2026, issued mock trading on Saturday, June 20, 2026 – Testing of Trading modalities related to Introduction of Closing Auction Session (CAS) in Equity Cash segment.

The Exchange will conduct a mock trading session in the Futures & Options (F&O) segment on June 20, 2026, to test the implementation of the Closing Auction Session (CAS) in the Equity Cash segment and related changes in derivatives trading. The mock will consist of three trading sessions across DR and primary sites, followed by a re-login window in the evening.

A new NEATPlus version (7.8.9) will be used exclusively for Trading Session-1 to facilitate CAS-related testing. Post this session, members must switch back to the earlier NEATPlus version (7.8.8) for Trading Sessions 2 and 3, which will run under existing trading modalities. Specific pricing alignment for stock futures during Session-1 will be based on VWAP calculations within a defined time window.

Additionally, members must prepare for mandatory migration to updated NEAT Adapter versions and new CA certificates by July 6, 2026. The updated system introduces enhanced encryption features, removal of MD5 checksum, and improved acknowledgment mechanisms. Members are advised to actively participate and ensure system readiness as per the guidelines and annexures provided.
