Labour Compliance The Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MoSD&E) on June 17, 2026, notified the effective date of the amended provisions of the Apprentices Act, 1961, issued under the Jan Vishwas (Amendment of Provisions) Act, 2026.

The Government has notified June 22, 2026, as the commencement date for the provisions of the Jan Vishwas (Amendment of Provisions) Act, 2026, relating to Serial No. 29 of the Schedule, which amends the Apprentices Act, 1961.
