The National Commodity & Derivatives Exchange Limited (NCDEX) on June 19, 2026, notified regarding the 2.5% Event-Based Additional Surveillance Margin on Coriander Contracts.
It has re-triggered an Event-Based Additional Surveillance Margin (E-ASM) of 2.5% on Coriander contracts following significant price volatility. The decision has been taken in accordance with the Exchange’s surveillance framework after the commodity breached both the 5-day price movement threshold of 10% and the 10-day price movement threshold of 15%.
The additional margin will be applicable to all running Coriander futures contracts as well as contracts yet to be launched and will remain in force until July 13, 2026. No E-ASM has been imposed on other commodities such as Barley, Castor Seed, Guar Gum, Guar Seed, Jeera (including Jeera Mini), and Turmeric.
