Industry Specific ComplianceThe Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) on June 15, 2026, notified regarding the Prohibition of Fixed Dose Aloe Extract + Vitamin E + Dimethicone + Glycerine.

The following has been stated:

• The Government has banned the manufacture, sale, and distribution of the fixed dose combination Aloe Extract + Allantoin + Alphatocopherol Acetate (Vitamin E) + D-Panthenol + Vitamin A for human use with immediate effect. The ban follows recommendations of an Expert Committee, the Drugs Technical Advisory Board (DTAB), and its Sub-Committee, which concluded that available scientific evidence does not support the rationality of the combination and that it lacks therapeutic justification.

• After reviewing stakeholder submissions and public comments, the authorities determined that safer alternatives are available and that continued use of the product may pose risks to public health. Consequently, the Government has prohibited its manufacture, sale, and distribution in the larger public interest.
