The Government of Madhya Pradesh on June 09, 2026, issued an amendment to the Schedule under Section 2(1)(a) of the Madhya Pradesh Krishi Upaj Mandi Adhuniyam, 1972.
In the Schedule of the said Act, under the heading "II - Cereals", a new Item No 15 - "Quinoa" and under the heading "XV - Agriculture Medicinal Produce" new Item No 67 "Chiaseeds", 68 "Akarkara", 69 -"Hingot", 70 -"Jamun", 71 -"Kantakari", 72 "Bhringraj", 73-"Tesu Flower", 74 -"Gangri", 75 -"Baboolphali", 76 -"Aloe Vera Leaf", 77-"Gokhru", 78-"Nagarmotha", 79 "Nirguni", 80 -"Gataran", 81 -"Sarphoka", 82-"Amarbel", 83 "Sahjan Leaf", 84 -"Bichchu Phal", 85 -"Lata Kasturi"86 -"Nilgiri", 87 -"Indrayan Fruit", 88 -"Chena", 89 -"Harsingar Leaf", 90 "Senna Leaf", 91 -"Senna Seed" shall be included.
