The BSE Limited (BSE), on June 19, 2026, announced an enhancement to the single filing system through API-based integration between stock exchanges by extending the framework to additional XBRL-based disclosures under the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
With effect from June 20, 2026, listed entities can utilize the expanded single filing system for specified disclosure events through newly released XBRL utilities. During the initial phase, entities may continue to submit disclosures in PDF format for compliance with Regulation 30 of the SEBI LODR Regulations, 2015; however, the corresponding XBRL filing must be submitted within 24 hours of the PDF filing. The Exchange has also enabled availability of such filings in iXBRL (readable) format for stakeholders through its corporate announcements platform.
Further, BSE has informed listed entities that the existing standalone XBRL utility for the disclosure event under Para B of Part A of Schedule III relating to awarding, bagging, receiving, amendment, or termination of orders/contracts not in the normal course of business will be discontinued from June 20, 2026 and merged into a consolidated utility covering Para B events. The update is intended to streamline compliance reporting and improve interoperability across stock exchanges through API-based integration.
