Industry Specific Compliance The Ministry of Textiles (MoT) on June 22, 2026, issued a notification regarding the enforcement of Jan Vishwas Amendments relating to the Central Silk Board Act, 1948.

The Central Government, in exercise of the powers conferred under sub-section (2) of Section 1 of the Jan Vishwas (Amendment of Provisions) Act, 2026, has notified June 22 2026, as the effective date for bringing into force the provisions related to to serial number 13 and the entries relating thereto in the Schedule to the said Act, relating to the Central Silk Board Act, 1948.
