The Ministry of Steel on June 22, 2026, notified the Cross Recessed Screws (Quality Control) Amendment Order, 2026 in supersession of the Cross Recessed Screws (Quality Control) Order, 2025.
The following has been stated:-
•In the Cross Recessed Screws (Quality Control) Order, 2025, enforcement of IS Number and IS Title at serial numbers 12,13 and 14 and the entries relating thereto shall not be operative for a period of 3 years from date of publication in the Gazette.
It shall come into force on June 22, 2026.
