Industry Specific Compliance The Ministry of Ports, Shipping, and Waterways (MoPSW) on June 20, 2026, notified the effective date of the amended provisions of the Coastal Shipping Act, 2025, issued under the Jan Vishwas (Amendment of Provisions) Act, 2026.

The Government has notified July 01, 2026, as the commencement date for the provisions of the Jan Vishwas (Amendment of Provisions) Act, 2026, relating to Serial No. 78 of the Schedule, which amends the Coastal Shipping Act, 2025.
