Secretarial ComplianceThe National Commodity & Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX) on June 23, 2026, issued a circular regarding modification in contract specifications – Bajra - Feed Grade (BAJRA) Futures Contracts.

The following has been stated:-

•The Exchange has revised the contract specifications of Bajra–Feed Grade (BAJRA) Futures Contracts expiring in July 2026 and thereafter, effective from July 06, 2026, in accordance with SEBI guidelines on contract specification modifications. 

•The revised specifications will apply to all existing and future BAJRA futures contracts from the July 2026 expiry onwards, while current specifications will remain valid until July 03, 2026. 

•Members are advised to review the updated Product Note and annexures detailing the changes. 

•All contracts will continue to be governed by the Exchange’s rules, regulations, and SEBI directives. 

•The Exchange has also emphasized that members and market participants are solely responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable quality standards, GST, APMC taxes, stamp duty, WDRA norms, BIS standards, and other regulatory requirements related to the commodity.
