Labour ComplianceThe Industry, Energy, Labour and Mining Department, Government of Maharashtra on June 16, 2026, notified regarding the De-notification of Industrial Area in Vadgaon (Dal) and Utroli Villages of Pune District.

The Government has notified the withdrawal of industrial area status from certain areas situated in Vadgaon (Dal) and Utroli villages in Bhor Taluka of Pune District, which were earlier declared as an industrial area under the Maharashtra Industrial Development Act, 1961, through a notification dated November 05, 1992. After reviewing the requirements of the land, the Government concluded that the said areas are no longer needed for industrial development purposes. 

Accordingly, with effect from June 16, 2026, the provisions of Chapter VI of the Maharashtra Industrial Development Act, 1961, shall cease to apply to these areas, and they shall no longer be treated as an industrial area. However, any actions, rights, liabilities, or proceedings undertaken before the effective date will remain unaffected and continue to be governed by the earlier provisions.
