Commercial Compliance The Government of Maharashtra on June 16, 2026, issued the Maharashtra Industrial Development (Amendment) Ordinance, 2026 to further amend the Maharashtra Industrial Development Act, 1961.

The following amendments have been stated:

• In section 22 of the Maharashtra Industrial Development Act, 1961, in sub-section (2), for the words "rupees seventy-five crores" the words "rupees six thousand crores" shall be substituted.
