Industry Specific Compliance The Ministry of Ayush (MoA) on June 23, 2026, notified the effective date of the amended provisions of the Drugs and Cosmetics Act, 1940, issued under the Jan Vishwas (Amendment of Provisions) Act, 2026.

The Government has notified July 01, 2026, as the commencement date for the provisions of the Jan Vishwas (Amendment of Provisions) Act, 2026, relating to Serial No. 8 (H ) and (I) of the Schedule, which amends the Drugs and Cosmetics Act, 1940.
