Industry Specific Compliance The Ministry of Mines (MoM) on June 23, 2026, notified the effective date of the amended provisions of the Mines and Minerals (Development and Regulation) Act, 1957, issued under the Jan Vishwas (Amendment of Provisions) Act, 2026.

The Government has notified August 01, 2026, as the commencement date for the provisions of the Jan Vishwas (Amendment of Provisions) Act, 2026, relating to Serial No. 27 of the Schedule, which amends the Mines and Minerals (Development and Regulation) Act, 1957.
