The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) on June 18, 2026, issued a notification regarding the date of Establishment of Indian Standards and the date till which the standard without the amendment shall remain in force, such as Stationary Cells and Batteries.
The following has been stated:-
•IS 1651: 2013 Stationary Cells and Batteries, Lead - Acid Type (With Tubular Positive Plates) — Specification (Fourth Revision)
The date of establishment is June 10, 2026, and the date till which the standard without the amendment shall remain in force is December 09, 2026.
