The National Dental Commission (NDC), on June 2026, issued an advisory directing all dental colleges to ensure accurate uploading of student information on the NDC Admission Portal to prevent errors affecting admissions and academic records.
The Under-Graduate and Post-Graduate Dental Education Board (UGPG-DEB) observed that the Commission has been receiving a large number of requests for correction of student details uploaded on the admission module, including errors relating to category, Persons with Disabilities (PwD) status, MDS specialty, university score, and 10+2 score. Taking serious note of the issue in its meeting held on April 24, 2026, the Board decided to issue an advisory emphasizing the need for greater diligence while entering student information.
Accordingly, the Principals and Heads of all Dental Colleges have been directed to exercise utmost care and vigilance and ensure that student details are uploaded correctly on the NDC Admission Portal without any errors, so as to avoid subsequent difficulties for students and other stakeholders.
