The Ministry of Finance, on June 30, 2026, issued Notification No. 22/2026-Customs amending Notification No. 12/2026-Customs dated April 1, 2026. The amendment has been issued under section 25(1) of the Customs Act, 1962, in the public interest.
Through the notification, the Government has extended the validity period specified in paragraph 2 of Notification No. 12/2026-Customs by substituting the date “30th June, 2026” with “15th July, 2026.” Accordingly, the benefits or provisions under the principal notification shall continue to remain in force until July 15, 2026.
The notification takes effect from June 30, 2026.
