The Income Tax Department, on June 30, 2026, announced the rollout of the second set of statutory forms prescribed under the Income-tax Rules, 2026 on the Income Tax e-Filing portal. The rollout is part of the phased implementation of the Income-tax Act, 2025 and the corresponding Income-tax Rules, 2026.
The newly deployed statutory forms are now available on the e-Filing portal for use by taxpayers and other stakeholders in accordance with the provisions of the Income-tax Rules, 2026. The rollout facilitates electronic filing and compliance under the new income tax framework.
Taxpayers and tax professionals are advised to access the updated forms through the Income Tax e-Filing portal and use the prescribed forms for the applicable statutory filings.
