Commercial ComplianceThe Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT), on July 1, 2026, issued Trade Notice No. 08/2026-27 amending the Guidelines for Market Access Support under the Export Promotion Mission (EPM) – Niryat Disha. The amendments have been introduced to provide greater operational clarity and certainty and shall form part of the guidelines issued under Trade Notice No. 19/2025-26 dated December 31, 2025.

The Trade Notice reduces the minimum delegation size for Buyer-Seller Meets (BSMs) from 50 participants to 25 participants, thereby facilitating broader participation in export promotion activities. It also inserts a new operational provision requiring that, in the event of cancellation of an event or withdrawal from participation, any advance grant released under the scheme must be refunded within 15 days. Failure to do so shall require refund of the funding along with simple interest at 10% per annum, calculated from the date of communication of the cancellation or withdrawal.

The DGFT has clarified that all other provisions of Trade Notice No. 19/2025-26 shall remain unchanged.
