The Government of Rajasthan, on June 30, 2026, notified the Rajasthan Occupational Safety, Health and Working Conditions Rules, 2026.
The following has been stated:-
•In the Rules, employers and occupiers must electronically register their establishments or factories through the designated Official Portal (LDMS or RajFAB).
•Establishments must arrange free annual medical examinations for all employees who are 40 years of age.
•Any factory or establishment employing 500 or more workers (or 250 or more in hazardous processes) is required to constitute a dedicated Safety Committee.
•Standard working hours are capped at 48 hours per week, with overtime hours compensated at twice the regular rate of wages.
They shall come into force from June 30, 2026.
