The Directorate General of Trade Remedies (DGTR) on June 24, 2026, issued a notification regarding the initiation of an anti-dumping investigation concerning imports of “Certain Antioxidants” originating in or exported from China PR, Korea RP, and Singapore.
The following has been stated:-
•The Directorate General of Trade Remedies (DGTR) has initiated an anti-dumping investigation into imports of Certain Antioxidants from China PR, Korea RP, and Singapore, following an application by Vinati Organics Limited, which alleged that dumped imports are causing material injury to the domestic industry.
•The investigation covers specified antioxidant chemicals and their blends used primarily in plastics, rubber, lubricants, and coatings, with the period of investigation being January–December 2025.
•DGTR has found sufficient prima facie evidence of dumping, significant dumping margins, and resultant injury to the domestic industry, including price suppression, reduced profitability, underutilized capacity, and losses.
•The investigation has been initiated to determine the extent of dumping and recommend appropriate anti-dumping duties, while interested parties have been invited to submit their responses and comments through the DGTR SETU portal within the prescribed timelines.
