The Central Depository Services (India) Limited (CDSL) on June 30, 2026, issued a notification regarding the discontinuation of the Monthly Stamp Duty Utilization Report.
The following has been stated:-
•CDSL has introduced a Daily Stamp Duty Utilization Report (SDUR), available in the DP Billing folder, providing transaction-wise stamp duty details for the previous business day whenever stamp duty is debited.
•In view of this enhanced reporting mechanism, the Monthly SDUR will be discontinued effective July 2026, with the June 2026 report being the last monthly report.
•Depository Participants (DPs) should use the Daily SDUR for reconciliation of stamp duty debits.
•DPs are advised to update their back-office systems accordingly to accommodate this change.
