The Central Depository Services (India) Limited (CDSL) on July 01, 2026, notified regarding the submission of the final accessibility audit report for digital platforms.
The following has been stated:
• CDSL has directed all Depository Participants (DPs) to submit the Final Accessibility Audit Report for all their digital platforms by July 31, 2026, in line with SEBI's digital accessibility framework under the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016. The report shall be submitted through the AuditWeb Portal and should cover all applicable digital platforms, including websites, mobile applications, portals, and similar interfaces.
• DPs shall ensure that an IAAP-certified Accessibility Auditor conducts the audit and that the uploaded signed report includes the auditor's IAAP ID/Certificate Number and contact details.
• The report should also provide remediation measures undertaken, compliance status (fully complied/partially complied/pending), and supporting evidence. CDSL has advised DPs to submit by the prescribed deadline to ensure compliance with SEBI's accessibility requirements.
