Industry Specific Compliance The Government of Himachal Pradesh on July 02, 2026, notified the Himachal Pradesh Municipal Corporation Election (3rd Amendment) Rules, 2026, further to amend the Himachal Pradesh Municipal Corporation Election Rules, 2012.

The following has been stated:-

•In rule 81-B, sub-rule (1), for clause (c), the following shall be substituted, namely:- "After making cross, the councillor shall fold ballot paper so as to conceal his/her vote."

These rules shall come into force from July 02, 2026.
