The National Stock Exchange (NSE) on July 01, 2026, issued a circular regarding Mock trading on Saturday, July 04, 2026 – Testing of Trading modalities related to Introduction of Closing Auction Session (CAS) in Equity Cash segment.
The following has been stated:-
•The National Stock Exchange of India Limited will conduct a mock trading session in the Futures & Options segment on July 04, 2026, to test the implementation of the Closing Auction Session (CAS) in the Equity Cash segment.
•A new NEATPlus version 7.8.9 will be used only for Trading Session-1, while version 7.8.8 will be used for Trading Sessions 2 & 3 and live trading from July 06, 2026.
•The mock will be conducted across three trading sessions, including testing from the primary and disaster recovery (DR) sites.
•Members are requested to actively participate and follow the specified software versions and testing procedures.
